The compassion of [the] people of God has changed my life, and I am glad that North Point also preaches the message of love and compassion.Jonathan I.
I was born in Rwanda, just 2 months before the genocide. My father was a pastor of a pentecost church and with God's power of protection, we survived the genocide. With many children at home, 6 siblings and 5 more adopted, life was not easy, but we kept loving God and he indeed worked for our good. I saw Andy Stanley on a video from Global Leadership Summit, and since then, his sermons never leave me the same. I love Jesus and I owe him all I have. I am now a student at Harvard University, but no matter how much work I have to do, I never miss time for North Point Community Church Services. The compassion of people of God has changed my life, and I am glad that North Point also preaches the message of love and compassion. I look forward to going back to Rwanda and giving back to my community. There is still a big number of doctors, engineers and leaders that poverty kept away from society, and I hope to be part of those who want to help them come out for the love of Jesus.
